The so-called “sEIF- cULTIVATION consists in cORRECTING own mIND” person:

有的人|sOME pEOPLE

We absolutely have the right to choose what kind of person we want to be,
Our inner conscience is the answer.

Zang Kejia*₁ – “Some People”(1949)*₂:

有的人活著,他已經死了;
Some people are alive, he is already dead;
Some people are dead, he is still alive.

Some people ride on people’s back: “Ha, how great I am!”
Some people humble themselves and work hard for people as (cattle and) horses.

有的人,把名字刻入石頭想“不朽”;
Some people want to become “immortal” by carving their names into stones;
Some people prefer to be weeds, waiting to be burnt by the underground fire.

有的人,他活著別人就不能活;
Some people, they live, but then the others cannot live;
Some people, they live, to make other people’s lives better.
