月、靜夜｜mOON, qUIET nIGHT

雖然我們都是看著同一個月亮，卻很遙遠⋯⋯
Although we are looking at the same mOON, it’s far away……

李白（七零一年至七六二年，唐代著名詩人及對日後華夏文藝有著深遠影響）－《靜夜思》：
Li Bai (701-762, Tang Dynasty’s famous poet who had a profound impact on future Great Chinese literature and art) – “ Quiet night thoughts”:

牀前明月光，疑是地上霜。
舉頭望明月，低頭思故鄉。
Moon shines at the front of bed,
Seems like frosting on the land.
Raise head and see bright moon,
Bow head and think of home.

先帝的禮制傳統「春朝日、秋夕月」自古得到薪傳，故民間至今仍於農曆八月十五日以賞月、月餅和燈籠等來慶祝中秋節。
The traditions,”Worship the Sun in the Spring and worshiping the Moon in the Autumn”, of the past emperors have been passed on since ancient times, therefore people still celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with fullmoon, mooncakes and lanterns etc. on August 15 (Lunar calendar) nowadays.

然而，月亮和月餅，卻令在下想起孩時所背誦的人生第一首「詩」（它充滿著香港獨有的文化特色， 惟因地道廣東話的關係，外國人可能較難理解）：
However, fullmoon and mooncake made me think of my first recited “poem” in my childhood life (it’s full of Hong Kong’s unique cultural characteristics, but because of local Cantonese, foreigners may be difficult to understand):

牀前明月光⋯⋯頭佬，
疑是地上「鑲」⋯⋯牙佬。
舉頭望明月⋯⋯餅佬，
低頭思故鄉⋯⋯下佬。

孩時的聯想：
牀前有個光頭佬，地上有個鑲牙佬，抬頭有個月餅佬，低頭思念鄉下佬。
Imagination as a child and English straight translation:
Standing a shaven-headed man in front of bed,
Could be a dentist on the ground.
Raising head and see a boss of mooncake [bakery],
Bowing head and think of a countryman.

對於不懂廣東話的華人來說，可能要先了解「佬」字（「點仔」之一），然後順序：
「光頭佬」就是沒有頭髮的男人；「鑲牙佬」則是能幫人鑲牙的牙醫；「月餅佬」是賣月餅的；「鄉下佬」便是從鄉下到城來的人。
For the people who does not speak Cantonese, you may wanna know what the“lOU2”(佬, one of the “dIM2AI”) is first.

這首「佬詩」是源自上述的《靜夜思》 ，不知何時被惡搞，就是覺得很惡趣，而且更有助在下學習古詩。還記得以前背誦此詩而逗得別人歡笑，在下也因此而十分高興。不過，當時年紀太小，已忘了傳授的人是誰，也不知出處，恕未能提供更多資料。
This “lOU2 poem” is originally from above “Quiet night thoughts”, don’t know when was it parodied, felt just kuso but also helped me to learn ancient poems. Still remember I made people laughed when I recited this poem, and I was really happy too because of that. Nevertheless, I was too young at that time and have forgotten the person who taught me, also don’t know the source, sorry that I cannot provide more information.
