秋詞　二首｜tWO lYRICS of aUTUMN

吾想：
秋之清高，不悲不愁，不煩不躁，坦然脫俗，收攝心神。
I think:
lOFTINESS of Autumn, has nO worries, sadness, annoyance and impetuosity. It is cALM with cONFIDENCE and fOCUSING on mind.

劉禹錫（七七二年至八四二年，唐代著名詩人、文學作家，朝廷官員）－《秋詞　二首》：
Liu Yuxi (772-842, Tang Dynasty’s famous poet, literary writer, court official) – “Two lyrics of Autumn”:

《秋詞 其一》
自古逢秋悲寂寥，我言秋日勝春朝。
晴空一鶴排雲上，便引詩情到碧霄。
“First lyrics of Autumn”
Loneliness is always lamented during the autumn since ancient times,
I say the Autumn days are better than the Spring mornings.
One soaring crane breaks the clouds in the clear sky,
Also moves the poetry mood to the nice blue sky.

《秋詞 其二》
山明水凈夜來霜，數樹深紅出淺黃。
試上高樓清入骨，豈如春色嗾人狂。

Bright mountains with clear water, and frosting at night,
Several deep red trees turned light yellow.
Deeply impressed by the loftiness of landscapes after trying to climb a tall tower,
Unlike Spring, which makes people so frivolous.

獻給在下旅途上遇過的好人。
Dedicated to the nice people I have met during travels.

nOTES:

In ancient Chinese culture, the lyrics (詞) were different from classical poems (詩), they were formed similar but lyrics were created with Yanyue* together, and also could be sung.

*The dominant form of music in the Sui and Tang court was the entertainment music for banquets called Yanyue (燕樂). (Wiki)
